Hino 268A 2012 Series. Beside launch new series of Hino268, Hino also make updated product of those truck variant with a new version named with Hino 268A 2012 Series. Basically there are no big different if we see the specification of Hino 268A 2012 Series compared to the Hino 268. On this Hino 268A 2012 Series Hino still using Diesel Engine Type with 6 cylinder , all those cylinder will produce engine power until 220 HP at 2500 rpm and product torque until 520 lb.-ft. at 1500 rpm.
On weigh capacity this Hino 268A 2012 Series was not different from his brother Hino 268 , it still using 10000 lbs of front axle , 19000 lbs rear axle,front spring 12000 lbs and also rear spring 12000 lbs. Check on fuel capacity also has a same capacity with 32 Gall of Tank Fuel capacity.
So where is the different of Hino 268A 2012 Series compare with Hino268 ? , here is the data :
1. Brake Control
Hino 268A 2012 Series is using Full air dual circuit with Antilock Brake system. While for Hino268 it’s only Hydraulic dual circuit with Antilock Brake system also
2. Parking Brake.
On this Hino 268A 2012 Series, there is spring brake acting on rear wheels , while for his brother Hino 268 is Mechanical, internal expanding acting on differential
3. Air Tank Capacity
Hino 268A 2012 Series is using more larger air tank capacity with max fuel reach 68L , while for Hino 268 is only has 34L Air tank capacity
